Specialising in cycling tourism since 2005, Détours de Loire first opened in Tours (the location of the head office), and then branched out by opening shops in Blois, Saumur, Nantes, Amboise, Orléans and finally Angers, in order to offer customers a complete network of rental agencies along La Loire à vélo ®, and to allow touring in “one way”.

Its dynamic team are passionate about cycling, and bike trips, and are complemented by expert skills.

During the high-season, the team is strengthened by a dozen seasonal employees (rental agents and cycle mechanics) who come to lend a hand to the permanent staff.
